In the most recent edition of the Power On newsletter, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman commented that a number of Apple's newly launched products this month are merely incremental upgrades, without significant advancements in hardware innovation. Using the AirPods Max 2 as a case in point, Gurman highlighted that the product was simply designated as the second generation by swapping out the H1 chip for the H2 chip and enabling associated software functionalities—a naming convention he found somewhat tenuous.
