Today, Apple formally unveiled the iOS 26.4 and iPadOS 26.4 system updates, ushering in the newest official iterations of iOS 26 and iPadOS 26. This release comes roughly six weeks following the launch of iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3. Additionally, the new 'Concerts' feature aids users in uncovering nearby concerts. The Control Center has been enhanced with an 'Offline Music Recognition' capability, enabling song identification even in the absence of an internet connection. Moreover, an 'Ambient Music' widget has been introduced to elevate immersive experiences.

Accessibility has also been a focus in this update. A new 'Reduce Bright Light Effects' setting has been incorporated, alongside enhancements to caption and subtitle settings, and optimizations to the 'Reduce Motion' setting. Other notable updates encompass the addition of 8 fresh emoji expressions, advanced image creation and editing tools within the Freeform app, and much more.
