Samsung's first tri-folding smartphone, the Galaxy Z TriFold, was launched in December 2025 but discontinued just three months after its release. Positioned as an experimental model, it was only available in limited quantities in a few select markets. Despite strong market demand, with every restock in the South Korean market selling out quickly, Samsung decided to halt sales due to excessively high production costs. The final restock in South Korea will take place this week, after which the phone will be completely discontinued.
