On March 13, Apple announced that, based on communications with Chinese regulatory authorities, the commission rates for iOS and iPadOS on the China mainland App Store will be reduced starting from March 15, 2026. Specifically, the standard commission rate for in-app purchases and paid apps will decrease from 30% to 25%. The eligible commission rates under the App Store Small Business Program and Mini Apps Partner Program, as well as the commission rate for auto-renewing subscriptions after the first year, will be reduced from 15% to 12%. Developers will not need to re-sign any terms.
