On March 11 (local time), well-known technology journalist Mark Gurman disclosed in an article that Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone will bring an update to its iOS system. For the first time, it will support an iPad-like interface layout, enabling side-by-side app display to boost multitasking efficiency. According to reports, the device will feature a foldable inner screen similar in size to that of the iPad mini, complemented by an outer screen comparable to a smaller iPhone’s display. The inner screen will adopt a widescreen aspect ratio, distinguishing it from the narrow-screen designs typically found in foldable phones currently available on the market. Insiders familiar with the matter suggest that this unique design will serve as a major selling point for the product.
