The iPhone 18 Pro series is likely to maintain certain design elements from its predecessor, with the Dynamic Island screen configuration and the expansive matrix ID layout remaining predominantly intact. The implementation of under-display Face ID technology will be deferred to the forthcoming model. Meanwhile, the device's build quality and rear design will see subtle refinements. This series will mark the debut of TSMC's 2nm process A20 Pro chip, with the primary camera boasting a physically adjustable aperture for the first time, and the Dynamic Island screen achieving a higher level of integration. Apple intends to introduce the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and its inaugural foldable iPhone Fold at the autumn event scheduled for September this year. In contrast, the standard iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e models will be postponed until the spring of 2027.
