According to an IDC report, the global market for household cleaning robots is expected to reach 32.72 million units in shipments by 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of 20.1%. Leading robotic vacuum cleaner companies are actively expanding into emerging market segments, with Chinese startups particularly excelling in the lawn mowing and pool cleaning robot sectors. Among the top five global cleaning robot manufacturers, Roborock, Ecovacs, Dreame, Xiaomi, and Narwal have all seen increases in both shipments and market share. Specifically, robotic vacuum cleaners will account for 24.124 million units shipped, a 17.1% year-on-year increase; window cleaning robots will reach 2.373 million units, up 70.4%; lawn mowing robots will hit 1.992 million units, a 63.8% increase. The pool cleaning robot market will remain stable, with above-ground, surface, and in-ground pool robots shipping 1.257 million, 233,000, and 2.747 million units, respectively.
