During January 2026, the domestic market witnessed the shipment of 22.866 million mobile phones, reflecting a notable year-on-year decrease of 16.1%. Specifically, out of this total, 19.870 million units were 5G-enabled phones, experiencing a 15.9% decline compared to the same period the previous year, yet still constituting a significant 86.9% share of the market.
