On March 2 (according to local time), a group of Iraqi residents stumbled upon and successfully retrieved a U.S. military LUCAS drone that had crashed. Remarkably, the drone's framework was mostly unscathed, and it featured a Starlink antenna affixed to its body. Videos related to this discovery have since gone viral across social media platforms. The LUCAS drone, a product of SpectreWorks based in Arizona, is designed to mimic Iran's 'Shahed-136' drone. It utilizes the Starlink network for remote control and data transmission over long distances. As of now, both the U.S. and Iraqi governments have refrained from making any official statements regarding this incident.
