Numerous consumers have reported that their iPhone 17 series devices, which they purchased for 13,999 yuan, experienced significant color fading after just one month of regular use. The once vivid orange casing gradually transformed into a pinkish hue, with the orange color nearly vanishing entirely from some aluminum alloy surfaces. Despite a growing number of similar reports flooding the market, Apple has yet to offer a conclusive solution. In response, Apple customer service mentioned that if the damage is determined not to be caused by human factors and falls within the warranty period, it can be addressed under warranty terms. They also recommended that users clean the phone's exterior with clean water and a lint-free soft cloth, cautioning against the use of wipes containing high concentrations of alcohol or corrosive solvents.
