On March 2, Liu Jingkang, the visionary founder of Insta360, took to Weibo to address the company's triumph in the US Section 337 investigation. He expressed a willingness to open up the relevant technology patents, which are already in effect for Insta360's Ace series action cameras, for use by industry peers, provided they are used in good faith. In this context, Insta360 will refrain from initiating lawsuits proactively. Previously, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) issued a final ruling, declaring that all six patent infringement claims brought forth by GoPro against Insta360 were without merit. Following this news, Insta360's stock price experienced a notable surge, climbing over 13%.
