According to Mashdigi, global mobility platform Uber has announced that Dubai will introduce air taxi services by the end of 2026, allowing users to book directly through the Uber app. The service will utilize electric aircraft developed by Joby Aviation, capable of carrying four passengers and operated by professional pilots. Dubai will establish four vertical takeoff and landing sites to connect key locations such as airports and shopping centers. Uber and Joby Aviation aim to transform urban transportation with this initiative and plan to expand to other markets in the future.
