On February 25th, it was reported that the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has formulated the Airworthiness Standards for Normal Category Power-Boosted Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Unmanned) (Draft for Comments) and the Airworthiness Standards for Normal Category Multi-Rotor Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Unmanned) (Draft for Comments), drawing upon practical certification experiences. This move is aimed at standardizing the type certification processes for normal category power-boosted unmanned aircraft systems (unmanned) and normal category multi-rotor unmanned aircraft systems (unmanned). The CAAC is now inviting public comments on these draft standards.
