Samsung Display has proudly declared the introduction of its cutting-edge technology brand, 'QD-OLED Penta-Tandem.' This groundbreaking innovation is built upon a five-layer organic light-emitting diode (OLED) structure, meticulously engineered to significantly elevate the luminous efficiency, durability, and overall brightness of QD-OLED panels. Since the previous year, Samsung has strategically augmented the number of blue light-emitting layers from four to five, coupled with the incorporation of the latest organic materials. This strategic move has resulted in a remarkable 1.3-fold increase in luminous efficiency and a doubling of the panel's lifespan.

Under optimal conditions, specifically at a 3% pixel activation rate, the peak brightness can soar to an impressive 4500 nits for televisions and 1300 nits for monitors. Looking ahead, Samsung envisions a widespread application of this technology across its entire spectrum of panel sizes, thereby providing robust support for its flagship products. Presently, the sole 31.5-inch Ultra HD monitor, which has been certified by VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 500, stands as a testament to the successful integration of this advanced technology.
