On February 10, 2026, Finnish phone maker HMD made an announcement that its rugged mobile phone, the HMD Terra M, has now been officially launched in certain European markets. This device, which was initially hinted at in November 2025, is tailored specifically for enterprise and professional users. The Terra M boasts a 2.8-inch touchscreen and is equipped with the Qualcomm QCM2290 processor. It supports both dual SIM cards and eSIM functionality, offering users flexibility in managing their mobile connections. The phone has successfully undergone MIL-STD-810H and IP68/IP69K certifications, demonstrating its ability to endure drops from a height of 1.8 meters and providing outstanding resistance against water and dust.
When it comes to battery life, the built-in battery of the Terra M can deliver up to 10 days of standby time, ensuring that users can stay connected without frequent recharging. Moreover, the Terra M comes pre-loaded with enterprise-grade applications. These applications support offline navigation, enterprise-level secure instant messaging, walkie-talkie functionality, and more. HMD has also committed to providing up to 5 years of security updates for the Terra M, ensuring long-term protection and performance.
