CAICT: Domestic Mobile Phone Shipments Hit 24.473 Million Units in December 2025, Marking a 29.1% YoY Decline

On January 30th, reports indicated that the domestic market witnessed mobile phone shipments totaling 24.473 million units in December 2025, reflecting a 29.1% year-on-year (YoY) decrease. Specifically, 5G mobile phone shipments amounted to 22.132 million units, experiencing a 27.3% YoY drop and constituting 90.4% of the total shipments. Throughout the entire year of 2025 (from January to December), the domestic mobile phone market recorded a cumulative shipment volume of 307 million units, down by 2.4% YoY. Within this figure, 5G mobile phone shipments reached 266 million units, decreasing by 1.9% YoY and accounting for 86.9% of the year's total shipments.
