Apple's Chief Executive Officer, Tim Cook, revealed that the demand for the latest iPhone series has significantly surpassed projections. As a result, Apple found itself with constrained inventory levels at the close of the most recent fiscal quarter. In a conference call with analysts, Cook highlighted that Apple is actively working to ramp up its supply to keep pace with the robust demand. Nevertheless, predicting the exact timeline for inventory replenishment remains challenging, owing to the supply limitations of advanced nodes utilized in the production of System-on-Chips (SoCs). He further pointed out that the current supply chain lacks the flexibility it once had, a situation exacerbated, in part, by the heightened demand.
