At the Q4 2025 earnings call, Seong Cho, the Executive Vice President of Mobile Experience at Samsung, made it official: Samsung is set to roll out its 'next-generation AR glasses' in 2026. The real draw of these glasses? They're designed to deliver a 'rich and immersive multimodal AI experience' through an entirely new product design.

Media reports indicate that these glasses will blend various input methods to provide robust intelligent assistance services. Presently, Samsung is working on two AR glasses models internally, dubbed SM-O200P and SM-O200J, though the exact distinctions between them remain a mystery.

The upcoming AR glasses will be driven by Qualcomm's AR1 chipset and come with a 12-megapixel autofocus camera. They might also sport a 155mAh battery capacity, ensuring a wearable experience akin to that of standard glasses.
