The Shenzhen Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, along with four other departments, has jointly released the "Three-Year Action Plan for Enhancing the Consumption Environment in Shenzhen (2026 - 2028)." This plan puts forward a strong push to boost home furnishing consumption. Its overarching goal is to refine the development ecosystem of the smart home industry, establish smart home consumption experience hubs, and construct an 'all-in-one home' ecosystem. The plan actively encourages smart home enterprises to expedite their adaptation to domestic operating systems and chips. It advocates for the seamless integration of AI technology into a wide array of products, including furniture, TVs, audio-visual entertainment systems, door locks, kitchenware, lighting, robotic vacuum cleaners, and fitness equipment, with the aim of creating leading 'flagship products' in the smart home arena.

Simultaneously, the plan is set to vigorously drive the upgrade of home furnishing consumer goods. It will initiate a range of consumption-boosting events, such as the Home Furnishing Consumption Season, Home Textile Consumption Festival, and Home Decoration Consumption Festival. These initiatives are designed to encourage the renovation of older homes, partial home makeovers, and home adaptations tailored for the elderly. Moreover, the plan will foster the deep integration of 'OpenHarmony + Whole-House Intelligence' and set up smart home exhibition zones, all in an effort to craft a smart living space that places people at its core.
