Apple has recently informed developers that, commencing on March 3, 2026, ad spaces will be incorporated into the App Store search results. This initiative will first roll out in the UK and Japan, and then extend to all regions where Apple Ads are available by the end of March. These new ads will be interspersed among the organic search results, appearing at the top, in the middle, or even at the bottom of the search result list. Their positions will be determined by an algorithm that takes into account both the bidding amount and the relevance of the ads. Notably, the ad format and billing model will stay the same, enabling developers to automatically enjoy heightened visibility without the need for any extra configurations.
