Recently, TCL and Sony unveiled their plans to form a joint venture aimed at taking the reins of Sony’s home entertainment division. This includes overseeing the research and development, design, and production of a range of products, such as televisions and home audio systems. As outlined in the memorandum of intent, the new company will be structured with TCL holding a 51% stake and Sony retaining a 49% share. This collaborative entity will manage comprehensive business operations for products like televisions and home audio systems on a global scale, encompassing the entire spectrum from product development to after-sales customer service.
