According to a report from a research institute, in the fourth quarter of 2025, smartphone shipments in China witnessed a 1.6% year-on-year decline, while annual shipments dropped by 0.6% compared to the previous year. Among the major players, Huawei stood out with a 1.7% year-on-year increase in its annual shipments. Leveraging the robust performance of its mid-to-high-end models after discounts, Huawei secured the top position with a 16.9% market share. Apple wasn't far behind, with its shipments growing by 7.5% year-on-year, capturing a 16.7% market share, largely due to the strong sales of the iPhone 17 series. Vivo, however, experienced a 6.7% year-on-year decline in shipments, holding a 16.4% market share and ranking third. Xiaomi, on the other hand, saw a 4.3% year-on-year increase in shipments, accounting for 15.7% of the market and taking the fourth spot. OPPO's shipments grew by 1.8% year-on-year, earning it a fifth-place ranking with a 15.5% market share. Meanwhile, Honor's shipments took a hit, decreasing by 12.6% year-on-year, and it ended up with a 13.4% market share, ranking sixth.
