Starting with the iPhone 18 series, Apple is set to deviate from its long-standing tradition of uniformly rolling out new iPhones each autumn. Instead, the tech giant will introduce new models on a biannual basis. In autumn 2026, Apple will take the lead in unveiling its high-end offerings, namely the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and Apple's inaugural foldable iPhone. Meanwhile, the release of the standard iPhone 18 and the budget-friendly iPhone 18e will be pushed back to spring 2027. This strategic move is designed to better cope with market competition, streamline supply chain operations, and ensure a more consistent sales performance throughout the year.
