On January 5, as reported by BlueWhale Tech, ByteDance's highly anticipated Doubao AI Glasses are on the verge of being shipped to consumers. This innovative project is a collaborative effort between ByteDance and Longcheer Technology, based in Huizhou. Longcheer's Nanchang factory has been entrusted with the responsibility of mass-producing these cutting-edge glasses.

The division of labor between the two companies is well-defined: Longcheer is tasked with developing the underlying UI (User Interface), ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. Meanwhile, ByteDance takes the lead in crafting the upper-layer App development, leveraging its expertise in creating engaging and user-friendly applications.

The Doubao AI Glasses boast a self-developed spatial algorithm chip, a testament to ByteDance's commitment to innovation and technological advancement. These lightweight glasses tip the scales at under 50 grams, making them comfortable to wear for extended periods. They will be offered in a variety of configurations, catering to different user needs and preferences. Notably, some variants will feature photography and display capabilities, enhancing their versatility and appeal.

In terms of pricing, the starting price for these AI glasses is expected to be below 2,000 yuan, making them accessible to a wider audience. According to the release plan, the screen-free version of the Doubao AI Glasses will be the first to hit the market in the first quarter of this year. Subsequently, the version equipped with a display function is anticipated to be launched in the fourth quarter, further expanding the product's capabilities and market reach.

Longcheer has set a minimum order quantity requirement of 1 million units for this product, indicating its confidence in the market potential and demand for ByteDance's Doubao AI Glasses.
