To leverage this functionality, users are required to update their Smart Life App to version 15.1.5.900 or a later iteration. Additionally, Huawei smartphones or tablets must be running on HarmonyOS 6.0.0.115 or a higher version, while the family storage device itself should be upgraded to version 6.0.0.9 or above.

Activating the synchronization switch can be accomplished through two distinct methods. Once enabled, users gain the ability to monitor the synchronization status directly within the gallery interface. The stored images will seamlessly blend with locally saved pictures, presenting a unified viewing experience. Any actions performed within the gallery, such as marking photos as favorites or deleting them, will be automatically synchronized. For users looking to free up local storage space, the 'Optimize Device Storage Space' option can be activated in the gallery settings.
