Reports indicate that Acer and ASUS, which had previously maintained a cautious stance on price increases, have now officially announced plans to raise the prices of their PCs. On November 15, Hu Shubin, the co-CEO of ASUS, revealed that the company would adopt a flexible approach in timing its price hikes, basing decisions on market fluctuations and adjusting product ranges and prices accordingly. Meanwhile, Jason Chen, the chairman of Acer, mentioned that product prices in the first quarter of the upcoming year would be distinct from those in the fourth quarter of the current year. He also pointed out that the true challenge would be setting prices for the second quarter. In an effort to secure additional storage supplies, Chen recently paid a visit to Micron.
