During the third quarter of 2025, the worldwide shipment volume of True Wireless Stereo (TWS) headphones hit 92.6 million units, registering a marginal year-on-year uptick of 0.33%. Notably, within this figure, shipments of Open-Ear Headphones (OWS) soared past the 10 million unit mark, experiencing a robust 69% year-on-year surge. This impressive growth effectively compensated for the 4% downturn in traditional TWS headphone shipments, which amounted to 82 million units during the same period.
