CAICT: In October, Foreign-Branded Mobile Phone Sales in China Surged by 13%, Reaching 7.027 Million Units

According to data released by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, in October 2025, the shipments of mobile phones in the Chinese domestic market hit 32.267 million units, marking an 8.7% year-on-year increase. Specifically, sales of foreign-branded mobile phones (inclusive of Apple iPhones) witnessed a significant 13.0% year-on-year jump, totaling 7.027 million units. This figure surpasses the 6.216 million units recorded during the same period the previous year. Meanwhile, shipments of domestic-branded mobile phones climbed to 25.240 million units, representing a 7.6% year-on-year rise and accounting for 78.2% of the total mobile phone shipments during that period.
