GAC Aeroht has announced that its Guangzhou plant has already commenced the process of relocating, installing, and commissioning production equipment. The plant is slated to officially enter the trial production phase next month. This facility houses several workshops, such as those for final assembly, sub-assembly, composite material manufacturing, and painting. It will play a crucial role in the pilot production and PC (Production Certification, here we make it more understandable by not translating directly but adding explanation in bracket for the context where precise equivalent might not convey the full meaning easily) certification of Aeroht's multi-rotor flying car, the GOVY AirCab (GAC-A6).
At present, the A6 has garnered close to 2,000 customer orders. Reports indicate that the GOVY AirCab (GAC-A6) is currently undergoing a thorough airworthiness review. It is anticipated to secure its airworthiness certificate and initiate deliveries by the end of 2026. The initial batch of airworthy models is expected to roll off the production line at Aeroht's Guangzhou plant.
