The storage sector continues to be plagued by a trend of price hikes, with major PC manufacturers including Lenovo, Dell, and HP all planning to raise their prices, with the maximum hike reaching up to 20%. Lenovo has informed its customers that the current price quotations for servers and computers will cease to be valid on January 1, 2026. From that date onwards, the new quotations will reflect a substantial increase. Dell, on the other hand, is contemplating a price hike for its PC and server products, with an anticipated rise of at least 15% to 20%, which could take effect as early as mid-December. Meanwhile, the CEO of HP has cautioned that prices may be adjusted upwards if deemed necessary in the latter half of 2026.
