In a research report, analyst Jeff Pu revealed that the iPhone 17e is set to hit the market in the middle of the first quarter of 2026. When compared to the iPhone 16e, a major upgrade of the iPhone 17e lies in its front-facing Center Stage camera, which boasts an impressive 18-megapixel resolution. This specification brings it on par with the high-end iPhone 17 Pro Max, which comes with a price tag exceeding ten thousand yuan. Besides, the iPhone 17e will be powered by the A19 chip and come with 8GB of memory. It will feature a 60Hz Dynamic Island screen, along with a single 48-megapixel rear camera. The device will also continue to utilize the C1 baseband chip. Moreover, there's a possibility that it will incorporate a brand-new N1 wireless chip to improve energy efficiency. As for the price, it's anticipated to stay at $599 (equivalent to a domestic starting price of approximately 4,499 yuan), with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional battery performance.
