On November 18, AAC Technologies announced that it had signed a definitive agreement to acquire shares and other equity securities of Dispelix Oy, a Finnish company specializing in AR diffractive waveguide technology. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2026, after which Dispelix will become a subsidiary of AAC Technologies. Currently, the two parties have collaborated with multiple first-tier original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers to jointly develop next-generation AR devices.
