On November 17, Yu Chengdong, the Executive Director at Huawei, made an announcement stating that the launch event for the Huawei Mate 80 series is set to take place at 14:30 on November 25. This upcoming series is likely to sport a full-metal body along with a distinctive "double-ring" design and a right-angled frame, which aligns with the aesthetic trends and engineering excellence that Huawei is known for.

Notably, it will be the pioneer in incorporating the Kirin 9030 chip. Anticipated performance enhancements suggest a 20% boost, which is a significant leap forward in terms of processing power and efficiency. This new chip enables local operation of large-scale models with billions of parameters, a feat that underscores Huawei's commitment to pushing the boundaries of mobile technology. Additionally, the series may come equipped with features like HarmonyOS 6, offering a seamless and intuitive user experience; active cooling systems to ensure optimal performance even during intensive tasks; and satellite communication capabilities, expanding connectivity options in remote or challenging environments.
