Early in the morning today, Valve made an official announcement introducing three brand-new Steam hardware products: the authentic console known as the Steam Machine, the cutting-edge controller named the Steam Controller, and the immersive VR headset, the Steam Frame. Notably, the Steam Controller boasts contemporary features and an impressive battery life of up to 35 hours. It is packaged with a Puck magnetic connector, facilitating effortless connection and charging. The Steam Machine, on the other hand, offers a performance that is six times greater than that of the Steam Deck, enabling a gaming experience with 4K resolution and 60 FPS. Lastly, the Steam Frame stands out as a self-contained VR headset that grants access to the entire Steam game library, seamlessly compatible with both VR and traditional PC games.
