The Deputy Country Manager of Xiaomi France has announced that the inaugural directly-operated Mi Home store in Paris is on the verge of opening its doors. Earlier, the Mi Home outlet situated on the iconic Champs-Élysées was managed by a franchisee. However, it temporarily shuttered its operations owing to the pandemic's impact. Since the dawn of this year, Xiaomi has embarked on a journey of establishing directly-operated stores across several nations. In March, it marked its entry into the Japanese market with the launch of its first directly-operated store, with ambitious plans to expand its footprint by opening 5 to 10 stores in the Tokyo vicinity. The second store is slated to make its debut in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture. On June 28, South Korea also witnessed the grand opening of its first 'Xiaomi Home'. Back in May 2018, Xiaomi made a foray into the French market, inaugurating its maiden authorized store and introducing a selection of products. Simultaneously, it forged a partnership with offline collaborators to collectively cater to the demands of the French market.
