Apple stated on Wednesday that it has lowered developer fees to comply with EU technology regulations, but has not reduced prices for end users, thereby once again criticizing the EU's measures to limit its market influence. Last year, in response to the EU's Digital Markets Act, Apple allowed software developers in the EU region to distribute apps directly to users without going through its App Store, and also gave them the option not to use Apple's in-app payment system, which previously charged a commission of up to 30%.
