In light of the disappointing sales figures for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and the similarly underwhelming market reception of the iPhone Air, Samsung has made the strategic decision to reintroduce the S26+ model. Renowned blogger Ice Universe has recently unveiled the latest render images of the Samsung Galaxy S26+, offering a glimpse into its design. This new device stays true to the family's signature minimalist design philosophy, boasting dimensions of 158.4 x 75.7 x 7.35mm and housing a robust 4900mAh built-in battery.

Daniel Araujo, the Vice President of Samsung's Mobile Experience Division, has confirmed that the Galaxy S26 series will be the first in the world to feature the groundbreaking Exynos 2600 chip, which stands as the inaugural 2nm mobile chip on a global scale. This chip employs a sophisticated 1+3+6 deca-core architecture, with its super-large core operating at an impressive 3.8GHz. Benchmark results from Geekbench indicate that its multi-core performance is on par with that of the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite, although its single-core score falls slightly short. Furthermore, in addition to the Exynos variant, certain markets will also have access to a Snapdragon version, which will be powered by Qualcomm's fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite platform.
