Lu Weibing, the Vice President of Xiaomi Mobile, made a notable announcement: within a mere five days of its launch, the sales of the Xiaomi 17 series had soared past the 1 million-unit mark. Notably, the Pro Max variant emerged as the top performer, successfully carving out a niche in the premium 6K+ price segment and marking a significant upgrade in Xiaomi's product lineup. However, this initial burst of high-profile sales failed to maintain its vigor over time. Based on observational data gathered by tech and digital blogger @RD, during Week 41 of 2025, all three models within the Xiaomi 17 series experienced a sharp decline in their rankings. Specifically, the 17 Pro slipped to the fifth position, the 17 Pro Max tumbled to the 14th spot, and the standard 17 model took a steep dive to the 26th place.
