Xiaomi Service has officially declared that it will expand its network of stores providing IP68 dust- and water-resistant repair services by an additional 100 locations. This brings the grand total to 600 stores, 30 of which will also facilitate mail-in repair services. Customers can easily locate specific store details by using the Xiaomi Mall App. The scope of this service encompasses various models, such as the Xiaomi 11 Pro, Xiaomi 13 to 17 series, REDMI Turbo 4, and REDMI K80 series, among others. The IP68-certified repair service guarantees that, post-repair, the phone will continue to meet the original factory standards for dust and water resistance. However, it's important to note that this service does not include comprehensive fault detection. In the IPXX rating system, the last two digits signify the levels of dust and water resistance, respectively. Furthermore, the upcoming REDMI Note15 Pro series, set to launch in August, will boast IP66, IP68, IP69, and the newly introduced IP69K certifications. This series has also achieved the industry's inaugural five-star long-term waterproof quality certification.
