LG Electronics reportedly provides manufacturing equipment for Apple's iPhone production line in India

According to local media and India's Economic Times, South Korea's LG Electronics has provided production equipment for the smartphone production line of U.S.-based Apple in India. LG Electronics' research division has supplied machines for the automated manufacturing of Apple's latest iPhone 17 to factories operated by Foxconn, Tata Electronics, and Pegatron in India. Previously, LG Group's affiliated companies had already supplied display panels and camera modules for the iPhone, but this marks the first time that the LG Group has provided manufacturing equipment for the iPhone.
