At the Hangzhou Marathon, local law enforcement authorities rolled out China's inaugural autonomous net-deploying drone system, specifically designed to tackle unauthorized drone operations. This innovative system is capable of accurately launching capture nets to safely bring down drones, ensuring no damage is inflicted in the process.

Traditional approaches to countering "rogue" drones, such as signal jamming, often fall short. In contrast, the new net-deploying system leverages radar-based automatic tracking technology, enabling it to reliably track and capture high-speed targets.

The system's key strength lies in its ability to seamlessly integrate "precise identification with physical interception," making it adept at handling drones flying at speeds of up to 15 meters per second. Looking ahead, further enhancements are planned to bolster its capacity to capture even faster models, including racing drones.
