During the fourth quarter of Apple's 2025 fiscal year, the tech giant reported global revenue of USD 102.466 billion, marking an 8% year-on-year increase, alongside a net profit of USD 27.466 billion, which soared by 86% compared to the same period last year. However, in a stark contrast, Apple's revenue in Greater China witnessed a 3.6% year-on-year decline, amounting to USD 14.493 billion, positioning it as the only region globally where the company experienced a downturn. Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, primarily ascribed this setback to the postponed release of the iPhone Air in the Chinese market. Despite this, Cook remains optimistic, projecting a resurgence in revenue growth for Greater China in the first quarter of Apple's 2026 fiscal year.
