Departments including the Communications Administration of Shandong Province have unveiled the "Special Plan for Low-Altitude Information Infrastructure in Shandong Province." This plan advocates for enhancing low-altitude communication network coverage. By capitalizing on the existing public 5G network infrastructure, the plan sets forth the objective of expediting the construction of 5G-A and integrated communication-sensing base stations. It also emphasizes the need to deploy 6G pilot projects and advance towards commercialization. Furthermore, the plan promotes the integration of 5G-A with satellite communications, aiming to establish a comprehensive air-space-ground-sea communication network. To achieve seamless coverage of the 0-600 meter airspace, which is crucial for supporting the operation and oversight of drones, a differentiated planning approach will be adopted. Simultaneously, the strategy of "prioritizing communications, establishing a dedicated network foundation, and reusing resources" will be adhered to, in line with relevant principles.
