Ricoh has made an official announcement regarding the imminent launch of the GR IV Monochrome, a fresh addition to its GR series of compact digital cameras. This new model is tailored exclusively for black-and-white photography enthusiasts. Although the exact price remains under wraps, the camera is slated to make its debut in the market during spring 2026.
What sets the GR IV Monochrome apart is its incorporation of a cutting-edge, brand-new black-and-white CMOS sensor. Despite this innovative addition, the camera preserves the essential features of the GR IV model. These include a user-friendly 3-inch touch liquid crystal display, a robust five-axis image stabilization system, and a generous built-in storage capacity of approximately 53GB.
