In recent months, there's been a whirlwind of rumors surrounding Samsung's Galaxy S26 series. Based on the most recent leaks, Samsung's in-house flagship chip, the Exynos 2600, is set to outshine its rivals in terms of performance.
@Jukanlosreve disclosed that Samsung intends to equip the S26 series (comprising the standard, Plus, and Ultra variants) with the Exynos 2600 chip for the Korean and European markets. Meanwhile, the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite will continue to be used in the US, Japanese, and Chinese markets.
The Exynos 2600 is built on a 2nm process technology. Internal tests indicate that its NPU performance is over six times faster than that of Apple's A19 Pro. Additionally, it boasts a 14% improvement in CPU multi-core performance and a staggering 75% increase in GPU performance. When compared to Qualcomm's fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite, the Exynos 2600's NPU performance is approximately 30% superior, and its GPU performance is 29% better.
