Shenzhen Unicom has officially declared that users across major cities in Guangdong Province can now book home-visit services for eSIM activation. To avail of this service, users just need to enter their mobile phone number on the reservation page, pick a preferred date for the service, and submit their booking request. Subsequently, a professional engineer will arrive at the user's location within 24 hours to provide on-site eSIM services.
This reservation service is initially set to conclude on October 31, 2025, though the exact end date may be adjusted based on official announcements. At present, the sole pure eSIM smartphone slated for release in China is the iPhone Air. This device supports the programming and activation of up to two eSIM cards, enabling users to access mobile eSIM services from all three major carriers. Moreover, the iPhone Air is powered by the advanced A19 Pro chip and is priced starting at 7,999 yuan.
