On October 15, Nikkei Asia reported that according to Nikkei Research's survey, Samsung from South Korea has become the most valuable brand in major Asian markets for two consecutive years. The research released its inaugural Asia-focused 'Global Brand Survey' in 2024. The latest 'Global Brand Survey 2025' evaluated 200 brands, with data based on feedback from over 70,000 consumers across 11 Asian countries and regions, focusing primarily on eight markets: Mainland China, Taiwan region of China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
