From October 14 onwards, Microsoft will officially discontinue support for the Windows 10 operating system. This means there will be no more technical assistance, feature updates, or security patches provided. Users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to Windows 11. Experts from 360 Digital Security have highlighted that once service ends, users will no longer have access to official security protection, leaving their computers at a higher risk of malicious attacks. Statistics reveal that a significant 40.84% of users globally still rely on Windows 10. Given Microsoft's official announcement of 1.4 billion Windows users worldwide, this translates to roughly 570 million users who will be impacted by this change. The reasons some users have not made the switch to Windows 11 include the belief that Windows 10's features are adequate for their needs, better compatibility with older software, and a preference for not having to use a Microsoft account.
