Following DJI's announcement of price cuts, the topic of returns and consumer rights protection from those who had already bought products quickly gained traction on Weibo. From midnight on October 9th to midnight on October 14th, the standard version of the DJI Pocket 3 camera underwent a significant price reduction of 700 yuan, bringing its final price down to 2,799 yuan. Similarly, the all-inclusive set saw a price drop of 900 yuan, settling at 3,599 yuan. This price adjustment sparked a strong backlash from consumers who had already made purchases. Some were planning to return their products or seek refunds, and a few had already successfully done so. The official DJI store clarified that some products can be unboxed, activated, and tested, with returns accepted even post-activation, as long as the return occurs within 30 days from the day following receipt. The product and its packaging must remain complete and undamaged. Additionally, the official online store provides a 7-day price protection service. Nevertheless, the refund process for consumers who purchased products offline has been less straightforward, as policies differ among various stores. The official online store offers 7-day price protection and a 30-day no-questions-asked return policy (with the condition that the device and its accessories are intact and undamaged, and returns are permitted even after activation). In contrast, purchases made offline or through third-party vendors require contacting the respective purchase channels for return processing. At present, there has been no news about DJI releasing the Pocket 4.
