One day in September, while Xiaolin was utilizing the toilet's rinsing feature, the button malfunctioned and became stuck. Shortly thereafter, the toilet unexpectedly ejected boiling water accompanied by steam, causing severe burns to her perineal area.
Following the incident, Xiaolin took to social media to share her ordeal and specifically mentioned (@) the brand involved. After negotiations, the two parties eventually reached a settlement agreement. The compensation package included a full refund of the toilet's purchase price, triple the amount as additional compensation, reimbursement for medical expenses, compensation for lost wages during her recovery period, and damages for emotional distress.
